Chapter 23
The Next Day
After Texas had come to a stop in Rikenville, Nimble and Herman both jumped out of the boxcar and started to head towards the dock they were told Akagi and Yakatcha called their home port. They were both suddenly stopped when Stan Farefurt stepped out in front of her. Nimble jumped and Herman’s body began to tense up as if he were a large cat ready to strike. He handed nimble a small business card and said, “My number, in case you get lonely.” “Don’t worry.” Nimble said as she ripped up the paper, “I won’t.” Stan was about to step closer to her when Herman rolled in front of her and began to snarl at him, while kneading the ground with his tires, a clear sign of a territorial hearse warning him of the danger ahead. Stan stepped back as Nimble and Herman headed right past him and onto the docks as Stan said, “That hearse can’t protect you forever. One day you’ll be mine…”

A Few Hours Later

“LAND AHEAD!” Continental shouted down to Titanic and the other ships. Titanic grinned to himself as he said, “We must be nearing Rikenville.” Continental then shouted down a second time, “I SEE A SHIP! IT LOOKS LIKE AN AIRCRAFT CARRIER!” Titanic squinted his sad blue eyes at the sight of two dots launching off the flight deck. Once he heard the smallest dot shout his name he knew at once who it was. “NIMBLE!” Titanic shouted as Nimble and Herman both flew down to Titanic as Herman landed on his forecastle deck while Nimble wrapped her tiny arms around his prow almost sobbing, “Thank Zoith you alive!” “Continental saved us.” Titanic said, Nimble noticed Lusitania and Continental heading up to them. Her griffin like ears darted back and she began to growl at the two of them, completely unaware of their change of hearts. “He was brainwashed.” Titanic said, “I'll explain on the way.” Nimble flew up and landed on his forecastle deck and he sailed off for the harbor of ghost ships as they all swapped stories of what had happened to them over the past few days…
